Neighborhood Spotlight: L Streets
With its development beginning in 1954, the L Streets in Lake Highlands was named because, you guessed it, most streets begin with the letter L. The L Streets are located in the southwest corner of the intersection of Walnut Hill and Plano Rd, stretching as far west as Ferndale and as far south as Northwest Highway. This popular neighborhood has just over 1,000 homes.
The L Streets have a beautiful canopy of trees covering the streets. Showing in the L Streets in the Fall is magical! With every gust of wind, there are leaves falling all around you. Recently, I was driving away from an L Streets showing and ran into a group of at least 15 neighbors all having popsicles together in someones front yard. There is a strong sense of community in the L Streets.
