A House for Roommates
I remember pulling up to meet my client as another agent was leaving with their clients. A sign of the times. Inventory is low and there are very few four bed houses in the popular Lakewood Heights neighborhood in the Lower Greenville Area. This one was not only four beds, but also totally flipped.
My client, a first-time home buyer, knew this was the house he wanted to buy, and a lot of other people had that thought too. We toured the house on Saturday and again on Sunday to be sure… this was the house. With an offer deadline set, my team and I put our heads together to strategize how to write the most competitive offer. Contracts allow for multiple negotiable terms, including the sales price, closing date, option fee, length of option period and more. In a competitive situation, it is crucial to write a competitive contract. You have to set your client apart, and that’s what we did in this multiple offer situation!
My client purchased this home to live with roommates, as an investment. This house was the perfect fit for my client for multiple reasons:
Location, Location, Location
Less than one mile from Lower Greenville hotspots, under four miles from the heart of Downtown and Uptown and a five minute walk from Tietze Park.
Layout
From two living areas to four bedrooms (three with private bathrooms), a large kitchen and more, this house had the space needed for my client and his roommates! The open floor plan and large back yard make it perfect for entertaining!
Move-in Ready
This house had been completely updated. Hear me, there are ALWAYS things that need to be fixed. This is why we do inspections!
It’s such an honor to help my clients find their homes and this was no exception. I am so happy for my client who is a proud homeowner AND landlord! If you think you may want to purchase a home for yourself and roommates, I would love to help! Let’s connect today!
