Neighborhood Spotlight: Hillside

I am so excited to feature of my favorite neighborhoods in Dallas today! Hillside is conveniently located in Lakewood, just northeast of the intersection of Mockingbird and Abrams. Most of the homes in Hillside are ranches that were built in the 1950s and 1960s and have been lovingly maintained! A huge selling point is that Hillside feeds into Lakewood Elementary School, the third best elementary school in all of DISD!

My favorite part of Hillside is the sense of community between the neighbors! You can just drive through and feel it. I helped clients purchase a home in Hillside this fall, and there was a block party the first week they moved in. Neighbors are always out walking and in their front yards.

Another feature of Hillside, is that it lives up to its name with beautiful rolling hills throughout the neighborhood. It has big beautiful trees, and a creek that runs through it and feeds into White Rock Lake and gives homes on certain streets a beautiful creek view!

Finally, Hillside is close to incredible restaurants, grocery stores, and more! Hillside Village offers Dream Cafe, White Rock Coffee, Session Pilates, Olivella’s and more!
